Performance-Optimized Winglets
Designed for the most popular Cessna models
A new blended winglet developed to improve the performance of classic Cessna aircraft where it matters most: climb, efficiency, low-speed handling, and everyday usability.
The Skyhawk Winglet is currently undergoing EASA STC certification. It is not available for sale yet, but we are building an early waitlist for aircraft owners, operators, flight schools, maintenance organizations, and fleet managers.
Designed to improve
- Climb performance
- Aerodynamic efficiency
- Low-speed handling
- Cruise economy
- Overall aircraft appearance
- Wingtip lighting integration
Developed with CFD optimization
The Skyhawk Winglet was developed with a parametric CAD model and optimized through more than 1,000 CFD iterations in Ansys Fluent and optiSLang. Each version was compared against the factory Cessna wingtip baseline to study lift, drag, climb efficiency, and low-speed behavior.
Ansys simulation tools are trusted by major aerospace manufacturers, Formula 1 teams, and advanced engineering companies worldwide. We use the same professional engineering approach to develop winglets for the most popular Cessna aircraft, including the Cessna 172, 182, and 206.
Optimized for climb
The Skyhawk Winglet was developed with climb performance as the first priority. This matters for aircraft that operate from short runways, hot days, high-density-altitude airports, training environments, utility missions, and skydiving operations.
In climb, the wing works harder. Induced drag becomes more important, and the outer part of the wing has a major influence on performance. That is why the wingtip is one of the most valuable places to improve the aircraft.
The Skyhawk Winglet is developed to help classic Cessnas climb better, fly more efficiently, and feel more capable in real-world operation.
A complete wingtip upgrade
It is being developed as a complete certified wingtip solution for selected Cessna 172, 180, 182, 185, and 206 models with the Camber-Lift wing. The design includes an aerodynamic platform for a modern 12/24 V LED wingtip light, giving the aircraft a cleaner, more modern, and more premium appearance.
The winglet replaces the factory wingtip with a purpose-built aerodynamic shape designed for performance, integration, and certification.
